WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2015
If this isn't a cool setting for a little speech, I don't know what is... :-)
Very proudly Georg had the chance to receive the plant category winner award live on stage (here with Liz Bonnin) at the famous ceremony in the Natural History Museum in London. Very cool!
Almost 50.000 entries from 96 countries worldwide - no need to say, there is quite an amount of luck involved, too! Therefore - many, many congrats to all other winners and finalists!

Despite lifelong fame, wealth and glory (not to mention bragging rights) if you win ;-) , it is the truly wonderful award ceremony in the Natural History Museum in London, that sets this competition so far apart from the countless others. So cool to dine under the dino, with so many driving forces of the nature photography industry under one roof! If it only could last just a little bit longer...
Snapshot of Verena and me and Helen Gilks (left), Managing Director of famous Nature Picture Library and former manager of this competition - the photo was kindly taken by Michael AW, Winner of the Under Water category!
